Integra has introduced the new DPC-7.7 six-disc DVD changer, featuring HDMI audio/video output, including video upscaling to 1080i or 720p, for single-cable connection to A/V receivers and high definition video displays. Designed specifically for custom installation, the player delivers superior audio and video performance, a broad array of features for integration with whole-home control systems, and an ultra-quiet six-disc carousel tray with a unique blue illumination light for easier disc recognition in low-light situations.
The DPC-7.7 features premium 108 MHz/14-bit video processing, and a high quality internal deinterlacer/scaler that is capable of outputting video from conventional DVDs at resolutions of 480p, 720p, or 1080i via its rear-panel HDMI output. Additionally, the player includes both RCA and BNC 480p component video outputs, as well as two S-Video and two composite video jacks.
Like all Integra products, the DPC-7.7 was designed with the needs of custom installers in mind, and includes features like rear-panel bidirectional RS-232 port and IR in/out jacks for seamless integration with home theater equipment and whole-home control systems.
For audio reproduction, the DPC-7.7 features 192 kHz/24-bit audio DACs coupled with the company's exclusive Vector Linear Shaping Circuit (VLSC) for smoother and more linear analog audio output. It is compatible with both MP3 and WMA encoded CD-R/RWs, with ID3 tag display. The unit is also compatible with DVD±R/RW, CD, VCD, CD-R/RW, and JPEG image CDs. Integra's Direct Digital Path provides a streamlined path to the coaxial digital output jack for maximum audio fidelity.
The Integra DPC-7.7 will be available in October at a suggested retail price of $400.
